What is WEB?

WhEre is Web?

WEB's mission is to prepare homeschooled middle school students for high school. While many tutorials exist in the greater Nashville area, WEB is the only one dedicated solely to middle schoolers and their unique needs. Since classes began in 2013, a rigorous and hands on science curriculum has been the cornerstone of our offerings. Unlike many area tutorials, WEB does not require a statement of faith from teachers, parents or participants. This is a key component of WEB’s design. Our vision is to offer a safe learning environment where students are prepared socially and emotionally for high school, not just academically.

In the fall of 2019, WEB began offering high school classes. In order to preserve unique spaces for middle and high schoolers, WEB high school meets on Wednesdays and middle school classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Roughly half of the high school families are new to WEB, an indication that there is a demand for a secular high school tutorial option in Middle Tennessee. All WEB classes meet at Dalewood United Methodist Church, a long-time supporter of the WEB mission.
