Hattie Bird

Hattie creates Theatre because it offers, to every person involved, a moment in time to Empathize: to self-reflect, to relate to others, and to process the complex emotions and struggles that all humans face. Theatre offers a shared experience with people you might otherwise look past. As a director, she works to create an emotional and artistic space which exists, in those moments, for everyone present to it. Her Theatre is dynamic, it is moveable, it is adaptable. It holds a mirror up to you and asks you who you are, and why. It asks you to see and hear and understand others. It asks you to engage, collaborate, build, and explore with her, with the actors, and with yourself.


Group Classes

Improv offers the unique opportunity to discover their individual strengths, as well as to develop the versatility it takes to contribute and function within a team. Exciting, hilarious, and self-expressive acting games offer a safe and challenging space for each student to find their own voice, learn adaptability, and be encouraged to make mistakes!

Improv 2 (high school) - Tuesdays 1:00-2:00pm
Improv 1 (middle school) - Tuesdays 2:15-3:15pm

$150 to WEB students, $175 to outside students

Group Classes

Camp Gladiator a life-changing fitness movement dedicated to transforming lives through dynamic, fun and challenging workouts led by amazing, independent Trainers who inspire you to discover your best self. We will do a mixture of cardiovascular and strength training using body weight exercises using the 7 primal movement patterns (push, pull, hinge, squat, lunge, rotation and gait). Your student will gain physical endurance, strength and body awareness while being taught proper form and having a ton of fun! This is perfect for both those students looking to enhance sports training or students looking to become more active and have fun!

This class will be offered from 2:15-3:15 on Tuesdays.


Megan Brady

Megan is a Camp Gladiator Trainer donating her time to offer this class to WEB students. Contact her via email with any questions.

Cost is $20/participant for the semester. (Cost will be donated to Dalewood UMC for sharing space with WEB and Camp Gladiator.)

Senae Smith

WEB Parent and Study Hall teacher Senae Smith will be offering a weekly yoga class with a fun and unique blend of yoga, mindfulness exercises, social-emotional learning games, deep breathing exercises, and techniques for relaxation and stress management. Students will complete a weekly yoga sequence developed to improve strength, balance, coordination, and self-confidence. The same poses will be completed each week, allowing students to become familiar and skilled with the practice. Students will also participate in social-emotional learning games that have been developed for teaching patience, mindfulness, communication skills, teamwork, and compassion. Yoga, meditation and mindfulness practices have been shown to reduce stress and improve focus, memory, academic performance, self-esteem, body image, and overall physical and mental health. Senae seeks to create a relaxed environment where each student is valued, empowered, and encouraged to practice with respect to their individual needs. Senae’s class structure is based on methods by Yoga Calm, an organization in Portland, Oregon, where she received her training.
